Built for real campaigns

What is the Vox Explainer template?

Turn one argument into an editorial visual story. Advibly builds a narrated beat map, lets you compare several art directions on the same opening shot, renders richly layered paper-collage posters, animates every element with purpose, and assembles the clips into a concise explainer.

It is a guided production workflow, not a one-click filter. Planning and review happen before expensive renders, each approval keeps the next stage grounded, and every generated asset remains available for reuse or iteration.

Best for

  • 01Product claims and category education
  • 02Myth-busting and before-and-after narratives
  • 03Data, comparisons, and mechanism stories
  • 04Editorial paid social and organic video
How it works

You approve. It renders.

  1. 1

    State the claim

Give Advibly the single idea the video should argue. Choose a narrative arc, duration, format, and optional product reference so the plan has a clear editorial job from the first frame.

  2. 2

    Approve the narrated beat map

The claim becomes a sequence of beats, each split into an establishing poster and a detail cut-in. Review the headline, visual metaphor, camera framing, element motion, and timed narration before rendering.

  3. 3

Pick the art direction by eye

Advibly renders the same opening beat in several candidate themes. Compare the actual images, choose the strongest system, and lock its palette, paper stock, halftone, typography, and collage depth across the film.

  4. 4

    Render and approve every poster

Each shot becomes a dense editorial keyframe with a clear reading order. Headlines, cut-outs, charts, product imagery, textures, and annotations are composed as one poster before motion begins.

  5. 5

    Animate and assemble the explainer

Elements enter, snap, reveal, and reframe according to the beat map. The clips are stitched into a sound-designed cut, with the approved narration script preserved for voice production and final editing.

Questions

Good to know.

Is this affiliated with Vox Media?

No. The template uses the broad editorial language of modern paper-collage explainers: layered cut-outs, strong headlines, visual metaphors, and evidence-led pacing. It does not reproduce a publisher's protected branding or assets.

What makes this different from the general Explainer Video template?

This workflow is specialized for editorial paper collage. It plans wide poster and detail shots, compares art directions through a real image bake-off, and emphasizes claims, evidence, visual metaphors, and kinetic layout.

Can it explain a product or service?

Yes. Use a claim such as why the product works, what makes it different, or what misconception it corrects. E-commerce brands can also attach a product reference for reveal beats.

Can I edit the narration?

Yes. Every narration line appears in the beat map before rendering. You can tighten the argument, change emphasis, and adjust timing while edits are still free.
